We had another day school this Saturday. We met in the usual church hall to explore stitches that have fallen through the cracks. Kay Dennis provided us with a leaf image to work on. She had designed it to be worked in a combination of line, filling and isolated stitches. We all struggled with woven herringbone stitch, but several of the other stitches were delightful. It is sad how stitches go out of fashion.
Everyone had a fulfilling day, and Kay, as usual, was a patient tutor. Thank you Kay.
